Fado grimaced slightly, sighing to himself. “…the Flood was caused to keep the King of Evil from taking over the land. It happened without warning… both things did.”
He chewed his lip, leaning back on his arms. “Many… lives were lost. All races were affected negatively, even the Zoras… but no, my life was taken as I prayed in the Wind Temple by… Ganon and his minion.” He shuddered at the last word, remembering the sudden appearance of Molgera in the temple.
“It seems we have more in common that I thought….” She curled her lip a bit at the thought of Ganon. “It doesn’t seem to matter what timeline one is in. Ganon won’t be happy until he has claimed them all. We can only hope that there will always be a brave youth to oppose him.”
Her eyes grew soft again as she thought of the Hero clad in green that had saved her son. “I wish I could have done more to help that boy.”
“Sometimes greed can take people through the worst ways. Sadly that also means you can end up dragged down with them… But a hero will appear, sooner or later!”
He sighed, expression downcast. “Ah… we definitely have a lot in common…”
Peek of The Future ((Fado and Mayu RP))

Mayu sighed and looked around the temple again. “I’m not quite certain what to do as of yet. If the door is gone. I suppose I’ll adventure around this world. Making a boat shouldn’t be to difficult.” She grinned. “Ah, yes. Why are you here alone, Fado? Certainly you are quite lonely.”
“Do what you believe is best, though I’d advice you make sure you have a way to go back.” He chuckled quietly. “And that sounds easier said than done, but I believe it’s possible.”
He smiled slightly, looking away from her and toward the depths of the temple. “Indeed, it’s lonely. But I have… had a mission to fulfill; I suppose I can leave now but it just feels more comfortable here.”
Headcanons about my characters?
sheikofthesheikah:
“Yes, I heard from Zelda that she was really quite… irritating.” He laughed dryly, looking down and feeling his fringe cover his eye. It doesn’t really matter, as long as he didn’t mean anything to me… Yeah. “He was just… the only person that I sort of knew that wasn’t part of the servant crew or royalty was the Hero. So, I guess I felt somewhat close to him.” He shrugged lightly and turned his head to the side.
“Well… people and fairies are pretty similar, you can have a bad first impression of someone, but that doesn’t mean they’re always that way.” Fado shrugged, musing quietly before adding. “You grow used to them really quickly, it feels weird not having them around anymore.” It feels horrible not having them around anymore.
sheikofthesheikah:
“It really is. Though everyone else knew I existed, the Hero and I never met in either timeline. It’s fine, though. Just because one person doesn’t know I exist, doesn’t mean nobody does. Right?” He smiled, though it was hidden by his facemask. “Her name was Navi, I believe. Yes, I hear she was quite the schemer.”
“Depends… if the person that doesn’t know you exist is important to you in some way then well…” He shook his head slowly. “I can’t really say that I know that exact feeling personally, but it can’t be nice.
Navi… I don’t know why, but I somehow feel she was pretty nice.” He smiled, stretching his arms in front of him. “Most fairies are, though they do enjoy driving us nuts at times.”
Peek of The Future ((Fado and Mayu RP))
mayuthethief:
“A boat?” She pondered a moment, tapping her lower lip with her finger. “So. You’re saying that most of this future is covered in water? Goodness.” She tried not to think about it.
“I see. So you use magic and knowledge of the woods to hide from monsters. That sounds like a race that lived before the great war. My father would speak fondly of them, The Sheikah. I only know of a handful in exsistance now.” Mayu rubbed her head. “Oh, but look at me, I keep returning to sad subjects!” She chuckled to try and lighten the mood.
“I thought it was obvious, if you saw the ocean outside.” He chuckled quietly.
His smile diminished slightly as he sighed. “I’ve heard about the Sheikah. All I can really say is that a lot of things aren’t fair in this world, or life.” He shook his head, waving a hand in dismissal. “Ah, of course, no need to go there! So this is the first time you see this, well… time, pardon the redundancy. What’re you planning to do?”
sheikofthesheikah:
“It was… stressful, being under Ganondorf. For the first few years, Zelda and I trained together with Impa. We both gained stealth and fighting skills, though she was better at the former, I the latter. On the sixth year, I started working as a double agent under Ganondorf. It was also in the sixth year that Zelda got the dream - the dream that told her when the Hero would come out of his seven year sleep. I was assigned to be his guide and guardian, to watch him as he made his way through to save Hyrule. I - I’m ashamed at some of the things I did under Ganondorf, though it was required to tread through Hyrule freely without the threat of capture.” He carded his fingers through his hair, chuckling dryly. “And then the Hero woke up. Of course, I was there to see it. It was a magnificent sight, really. I’m sure we would have been friends in a different time, if the Princess permitted it. But no, I sent him through the temples, I kept my distance, and then I disappeared. It’s really quite depressing if you think about it… I really don’t know why the Princess told the Hero I didn’t exist. All that matters is that Ganondorf was sealed away in both timelines. Though, I have to admit, the look on the Hero’s face every time I jumped down from my high perches was… entertaining in the least. I suspect his fairy knew that I was coming, but didn’t tell him just for the entertainment value.”
“Sometimes we have to do things we don’t want to, some are worse than others though… so it was like you were never there to begin with?” Fado frowned, tugging at his cuff. “That isn’t very fair…”
He chuckled slightly at the last part. “Yes, some fairies enjoy playing pranks, but they never do anything that could cause real harm. Just a little surprise every once in a while.”
Peek of The Future ((Fado and Mayu RP))
mayuthethief:
“Well, there was a door. It just appeared in front of me. My curiosity got the best of me and well. I’m here. Though I hope the door is still there for me to return.” She chuckles and rubs the back of her head. “If I am, I suppose I should get use to this time until I’m able to return back to mine.”
The thief nodded. “That’s true, I suppose. If you don’t want to be seen that is. I have so many questions though. like, what are you’re cloths made from? Where do you sleep? Do you sleep at all? How do you protect yourself?” She caught herself before she went farther in her questioning. “Ah, excuse me. I get excitable sometimes~”
“A door? That’s interesting… and about getting used to this time, it may be a bit harder than expected, you’ll need a boat to reach other landmasses. And this place in particular can be a bit dangerous at times.”
He laughed as she barely caught herself from performing an interview. “No need to worry! But you’re asking about textiles from me, and I’m anything but knowledgeable about that. We do sleep, we all had houses in the village with the basics; and we used the Woods’ magic to stay safe by avoiding enemies and making them lose their track.”
sheikofthesheikah:
“What song was that?” He asks, tendrils of curiosity in his voice. “Hiding in plain sight… isn’t as fun as it’s made out to be. You develop a quieter, colder personality.” he sighed. “I did it for many years while Ganondorf was in power.”
Fado chuckled, playing with his cuffs distractedly. “One you don’t know anything about, it was created after the Flood. I can’t remember who told me about it though…”
His cat-like smile returned to his face, though not nearly as wide as it normally was. “Really? I always saw it as a very tense hide-and-seek game… but sometimes those aren’t fun at all. And not being able to express yourself or interact freely with others can make that happen.” He grew quiet for a moment, pondering silently. “If… it isn’t too much trouble for you to tell, what was that like?”
sheikofthesheikah:
He nodded and placed both of his hands in his lap. “I know what you mean. For the longest time I had no idea what to make of my heritage, of the princess, of the King… but in their time of need - when the King had died, and Zelda was running away - I decided it was more important to just let it go than to resent her more than I had.”
“Past is past, what’s done is done, what prayers we give they shall take and after set and raise of sun another day awakes.” He sang quietly, before turning to look up at the other. “I always wondered what it was like to hide in plain sight… successfully at least.”
